Meadow travel to Pollok tomorrow for the final of the Evening Times Cup. The match which kicks off at 7:30m is the last game of the current 'junior' season. So far this season the clubs have met 3 times with the previous results being :

In the previous games Pollok's top scorer has been ex-Meadow defender Derek Wingate with 2 goals. McGeown and Dingwall have been the other scorers with one apiece.
Meadow have had 4 different scorers in the previous encounters. McGinty, Turner, Robertson and Barr all have one goal each.

Meadow are the only Ayrshire team to have previously won the Evening Times Cup. That success came in season 2005-2006 when Ryan Davidson scored the only goal in the final against Maryhill. That final was also played at Newlandsfield, venue for tomorrow night's game.

Meadow reached the final the following season but were beaten 3-1 by Pollok at Somervell Park, Cambuslang. Meadow's goal that day was scored by Kenny Gillies while Dingwall (2) and McGeown scored for Pollok. Only 4 Meadow players in the squad that day are still at the club. Wardrope, Turner and Strain all played while Barry McLaughlin was an unused sub.
